Sunflower

In the morning, I went to a meeting in Wexford regarding the flute group - it's definitely happening - we have dates and time for the rehearsals. 

Afterwards, I went shopping.

And in the late afternoon I got my UK tax return done and submitted - owed a decent refund. 

In the evening, I made a start on the newest sewing project - so my sewing room is no longer quite as pristine!

Amongst the seeds that W spread after I planted the bulbs there must have been some sunflowers.  They're not very tall - but that's fine because they don't need staking.  Only one has flowered so far, and sadly has turned its head towards the morning sun, so away from the house.  It would have been a better photo if I'd taken the trouble to cut off the dead gladiolus head beforehand!
