A dip in the sea

It was rather nice to wake up in a leisurely manner and not have to rush out with the dog especially after our late night yesterday! After breakfast Linda, Stuart and I got into our wetsuits and headed to the beach. Mr PHL was the official photographer but hasn’t yet sent me the pictures!

It was a gloriously sunny day and the sea wasn’t too rough thankfully and I thoroughly enjoyed the time I spent in the water. I hadn’t realised quite how much buoyancy I would have whilst wearing a wetsuit and was a little freaked out at first but soon got into it. I felt very invigorated afterwards and really enjoyed my hot shower!

The music today was due to start at 1 but we opted to have a relaxing lunch and only headed up to watch the second act. Another fine day of music including Whisky a six piece band who played a fine selection of tunes, Blazin’ Fiddles from Orkney who had the crowd reeling and waltzing, Torridon who brought the house down as always and finishing off the evening with Callum Beattie. We nipped back to the site before Torridon came on to get changed into Warner clothing as it was starting to cool down really quickly.

No aurora tonight but another late one!
