Decent....

....weather today. That's 48hours of summer this week, it'll snow tomorrow.

I made that working class school boy error of trusting a posh person and found the cafe of the local big manor house closed until Friday. When you have that much money you don't need to try. Disappointed but not surprised, I pootled down to Kelso where all traces of the Tour of Britain had been removed and the splendid town square turned over to cars and vans again. Disappointed but not surprised again. 

However, I sought refuge in a splendid carry-out coffee and a croissant from The Naked Bakery and Cafe (clothes are mandatory), then I set-off for home to swap bike for van. 

I then performed a perfunctory weekly shop before setting-up in the kitchen to make an evening meal masterpiece whilst keeping half an eye on the Tour of Britain stage 2 highlights.
