Golden bracken

It felt a touch cooler this morning when I was walking Xena, but by the time I got to golf in the late morning it was so hot in the golf bays with the sun beating down on us. Another enjoyable golf session and then I had a flat white afterwards in the cafe there with another person in my group.

I am still trawling through thousands of images trying to find suitable ones to get printed for the upcoming camera club competitions. I find it very difficult to judge my own work so I waste an awful amount of time going back and forth, re-editing images and then deciding against them! 

This afternoon I went to my GP about two things - my suspected broken toe that healed badly and is now a swollen digit, which I need to get X rayed so we know what the problem is but then I think I will have to live with the problem (buy wider shoes to stop it hurting in my normal shoes) as surgery is not without complications. My other issue is the mole on my face that I have been concerned with and my GP has referred me to the hospital for an urgent appointment in case it is serious and I should hear from them within two weeks - fingers crossed I do!

Xena got another walk after my doctor's appointment - the sunshine of this morning disappeared and it has been grey all afternoon.
