EATIN' WEEDS SPOOLIOLI EATIN' WEEDS

CANADA GEESE (Branta canadensis) in a neighborhood pond having a weedy snack.  Locally, this plant is known as Coontail and it's prime goose food.

On land, geese do almost as good a job as goats do keeping grass trimmed.  They eat a lot of it.

I was going to tag it W-I-D-E Wednesday, but the theme is "doors."  Don't see any doors here so why bother?  It is W-I-D-E though.
