Rodents rule

Sleep the clock around...

...if you're Juno.

A good day at home sorting out the garden (the fleabane is uprooted and in the garden bag). I found four seedling lavenders in the paving stones outside my flat. The council no longer sprays the pavement with bad stuff so all sorts of exotic flowers take root, along with the usual weeds. Some of the good stuff ends up coming home if I can pick it out with the roots intact. The council do weed the pavements every so often so I'm doing the plants a favour by saving them (this is how I justify it).

For breakfast, I made quinoa pancakes with mushrooms and green sauce from Recipes for a Better Menopause, which was delicious! I may have messed up all the good these did me by having a whole bag of peanut M&Ms at the cinema this evening, but hey ho.

I went to see Lee, which was excellent and, sometimes, a hard watch (the Holocaust scenes). Kate Winslet was super as Lee Miller.

Fred put up the towel rail and we hung the bathroom wall ornaments. With that, the bathroom is 90 per cent done. Just don't look in the cupboard as I need to paint in there.
