Before, during and....

This is the before shot of the job we started today. The extra is what it looked like at the end of the day today. Hopefully tomorrow will be the finished shot. There will be no lawn area on the property. The small front yard will also be a garden.

I rented a sod cutter today to make it easier to remove the grass. A likes to use the power tools sometimes. It took 3 trips to the dump today to get rid of all the sod. I took a different helper with me for each load but I still pulled a lot of the sod off the truck myself. I can feel it in my shoulders tonight.
