Wednesday Work...WE GOT SIDEWALKS!

At 6:53 this morning, we thought that somebody was doing some hammering in our bedroom. But no, it was the workers pounding in the supports that keep all the cement from oozing out.

We don't know what happened, but the cement workers disappeared about 4 weeks ago. We thought they would follow up the driveways with the walks, but it didn't happen.

We didn't see the work being done because we went to the big city (Flint) to visit the Social Security office to try to clear up some things. We thought we would be smart and got there at 8:53 for the 9 a.m. opening, but others were smarter. We were perhaps 14th or 15th in line. 

After the so-so appointment with the smile-less worker, we went to Sam's Club and Big Lots, then came home, where I made 4 wooden National Park signs...which I hope to sell at the upcoming flea market.
