NOT a Swallow.

As a loose generalisation, if we go to a Garden Centre, the lean is towards either vegetation or Flowers &/or Macros.  From time to time I do tend to digress; thus.
This time I spotted a Nandina domestica, being molested by were flying beasties.  I knew it, but had "lost" its name.  Alice liked it we had one - BUT - I don't recall it flowering.  Pesky insects refused to sit where I could 'grab' a decent flow shot and Insect(s).
It's so long since we had one I had a refresher 'look up'. According to "us" it's "Despite its name, it is not actually related to Bamboo, but is named so because of its Bamboo-like habit, without being invasive."
AND YET
The USA says "Nandina domestica is considered an invasive plant in the Southeast US. Because of this potential, selections that produce fruit (i.e., seeds) are not recommended as landscape plants."
By a remarkable stoke of serendipity I managed to get both a wee beastie and the flower spike in focus.
