Daaaad! What's a YALP?

As a devout plantaholic, and not sure we'd get down-town I hurtled around the garden ... "Blips to the left of him, Blips to the right of him...."

Then we went shopping.

The English language is a funny old beast, even to the English.

How do you tell whether you heard somebody say
"A slow pup." or "A slope up"?

I once, accidentally, stumbled upon something like "The 10 silliest web addresses"
which included
"Therapistfinder": "Expertsexchange": "Penisland" and "Molestationnursery"

There was no mention of the "Yalps" I wonder why?
