A little souvenir

After my tiring day yesterday I’ve been sorting things out at home. This is a fridge magnet I bought at the Biba show yesterday as it was reduced. This is the logo I always think of for Biba but actually there were at least two others before this. I had forgotten that Biba was not around for that many years ..three shops in Kensington all of which I visited. I think when they took over the big Derry and Toms store they expanded too much trying to have products for all departments rather than just clothes and furnishings ..over committed so it did not last. 
Occasionally I buy a fridge magnet when on holiday, some are over 20 years old…I need to sort them out and tidy the display on the fridge and the freezer! 

A friend is coming round soon with old DVDs ( of her family) which she wants to view on our machine to see if they are worth keeping. Her DVD machine does not work…I had to try out ours as had not used it for nearly a year for a wildlife disc we got on a holiday.
