Good for some snails

A wet day, the promised heavy rain arrived this morning , torrential at times dropping off to a drizzle this afternoon. We got out all the same!

Tragic news when we heard that a dear friend had died this morning. It was so quick. We saw her at the end of June and Susan saw her a week ago. She had suffered overwhelming health problems over the last decade, having two kidney transplants, a pancreas transplant, various fractures and then contracting cancer in the last two months.

It was so aggressive and she was in so much pain. A PET scan last week revealed she had days to live and so it proved. She died with all her family around her and is now released. Rest in peace Sue. Susan is devastated as she was her best friend. Always positive, always looking out for others, a rock for so many. She had only j hat turned 60
