Sweep
Around at Doreen’s care home for her sixth month care plan review. Afterwards we went into the garden and were treated to a visit by Sweep, a therapy dog who visits care homes to dispense a little friendliness and attention to residents.
Sweep is cavapoo, cavalier King Charles spaniel crossed with the inevitable poodle. Not only is he a therapy dog he’s a scenting dog and takes part in obedience classes and he knows which activity he’s expected to do by the jacket and collar he has put on. Much more intelligent than many a human…
Another hot day. We’re sat outside at 20.45 in the dark with the temperature at over 20c. Amazing but of concern.
We had a full day, walking into town for an appointment with the solicitor to rewrite or wills, lunch in town, up to Doreen’s for the review then a walk home.
