Boats and bridges of Brittany

Chilly start to the day but dry! I was expecting rain at some point but only at 8pm were there a few spots. I’m guessing rain off the Atlantic must be very difficult to forecast because, thankfully, it’s been wrong a few times!

I rode a lovely circuit to a couple of quaint harbours and had to climb some steps to cross this bridge. The roads on the way there were quite busy but there was a very good cycle path network with plenty of good tarmac. I wasn’t so excited about the run back but in fact, the road was probably the prettiest - quiet lanes and no cycle lane required. Passed a dead snake at some point and a live kingfisher in a pretty marshland area. A lovely outing and the sun even came out.

A few van ‘chores’ (nothing is really a chore!), planned my next stop (which took a bit more effort this time), devised a ride and a having a chill out.
