Butterfly Ball
Well three of them - one on the fleabane and then round the corner two were disporting on the rather past it buddleia.
It was a lovely fresh morning and the tide was high early - we decided to give it ago and found ourselves in Kitchen Cove at about 8.30. heck, the water is cold I don't know what's happened for it seems to have dropped about 4 degrees. Icy. Swim doesn't quite describe the cursing and flailing and gasping.
Busy day on my to do list for the project - I think I have achieved - and in between I rushed out to do a bit of strimming. I'm going off pistes again for I 'm finally catching up with the Professor of holy wells tomorrow, somewhere in extreme North Kerry - remember the original meeting was postponed because of the car. Himself not happy re car but we shall see how it copes going to Kerry. Fate does seem positive though for the AirBnB we are staying in has a holy well in the grounds- one I couldn't get to last time I tried.
Talking of Fate with a capital F = we've been watching Kaos on the recommendation of sk - a mad. bizarre, inventive and sort of funny retelling of the Greek myths set in modern times. An excellent cast lead by a paranoid Jeff Goldblum as Zeus and Janet Mcteer as Hera. Gosh, the myths are brutal, pertinent and complicated.
Ok catch you later.
