Interested Spectator

This deer stood under the shelter of the trees and watched us tee off at the 10th hole on our golf round this morning. It probably couldn’t believe that three silly old fools were still playing in what was by then extremely heavy rain.

I’m blaming the rain and the fact that the zoom on my camera phone isn’t great for the very grainy / blurry nature of the shot.

Despite the rain, we were mad enough to persevere until the bitter end of the round and somehow all managed to play pretty close to handicap.

This afternoon, our friends Tony & Rosie called in for coffee and cakes.
