Summer's progress

No. This is not a desperate blip of what I cooked for tea!
It is an important ethological observation; summer progresses. This is the last of the British asparagus (it's all Peruvian in the shops, now, which I can't bring myself to buy) and the first of the purple sprouting broccoli.
Had it with a rather nice chicken in a lime and ginger marinade and roast potatoes. :)
