Day 10 - Deepwater

Deepwater is a small town on the New England Highway between Glen Innes and Tenterfield. We stopped there because our friend’s maternal grandparents lived there in the early 1900s. They had previously lived in Tenterfield and subsequently moved to Newcastle, following work.

This is the little railway station at Deepwater. Sadly it is no longer used.
