Spotted this beautiful butterfly on a maize cob this morning - it was taking advantage of the lovely warm sunshine.

A rare sight this summer - both sunshine and butterflies…

I haven’t seen the poorly blue tit around the garden today - so hopefully it has made a recovery and moved on…
