Friday Beautiful Normal Brain
Jess left the neurologist's quote on the kitchen blackboard: "BEAUTIFUL NORMAL BRAIN!"
Even though we were still full after last night's dinner, we walked down the hill and into Camberwell for breakfast at Lovewalk Cafe.
Afterwards, I caved and went into The Nunhead Gardener and spent money on a house plant, forgetting I then had to carry it all the way to Wiltshire. But money well spent.
From there we walked to Elephant where we helped Florence choose new glasses frames. We said our goodbyes and left Florence to go to a Yoga class.
We made our way to Paddington from Elephant and Castle underground. If you choose to take the 111 steps down , rather than the lift, you can see these very pleasing tiles. Just my bag.
As you turn a tight left out of Pewsey Station, there's a hollow under the railway bridge. It was flooded and traffic was being slowly guided through. Apparently it has poured down relentlessly today. London was drizzly but nothing bad enough for a hood or umbrella.
As soon as we got home, I took Hetty out for a walk. Weather was ok.
