Over the bridge
Another glorious day from start to finish! I went down to the Corran Halls with Sue from the KOB committee to have a look at the bed and terrace that I'm suggesting we sort out for Live Oban - my Blip today. It's full of sycamore seedlings at the moment.
After lunch I set off to meet up with a friend in her garden at Barcaldine.
The car thermometer read 27 degrees when I set off - not bad for old Argyll! Crossed over the Connel Bridge, lit up in the sunshine - built as a railway bridge and opened in 1903. The railway closed in 1966 and the bridge is now a road bridge, though just a single track with traffic lights - my extra today.
Enjoyed an afternoon of looking at plants and chatting and arrived home with the temperature still reading 26. I wonder if this weather is to continue? Sunny tomorrow apparently, but deteriorating thereafter.
