Ripe Discovery apples

I called to see Margret, next door, this afternoon and came away with a bag full of apples. These Discovery apples are ripe and ready to fall.

The apples on my trees have a long way to go before they are ripe. I’m hoping they will be ripe in time for the village apples pressing this year.

I’ve had a very quiet day. I woke late after being awake during the night and I have been knitting and listening to the radio.

Tomorrow I need to spring into action!
