Wound up in Wexford

Four Seasons

Second day in succession at Christ Church Cathedral.  A totally different type of music.  A small group, led by Patrick Rafter put on an amazing performance of Vivaldi's Four Seasons.  Particularly interesting was that Patrick introduced each concerto by taking us through a few things to listen out for.  I had not realised that the repeated viola double note in the second movement of "Spring" was meant to represent a dog barking.

Earlier in the day, W went to the gardening group, but I gave it a miss, because I thought "our weeds were more important than theirs", and with several hours of back breaking work I cleared three of our flower beds.  Only three more to do!
