Back in the concert season
Some of the morning was spent on yet more tax thoughts/efforts - this time the Irish tax return. Not helped by my computer having a "go slow" moment*.
In the afternoon I went into Wexford to the sewing group - just three of us this time, but as always, useful chat.
In the evening, we went to a concert in Waterford. A selection of poems by W.B. Yeats, set to music by Anna Skrine (on the right), and interspersed with a narrative of his life. Beautifully performed by Anna, with Liz and Gordon Jones, and an interesting subject. Very sad there was such a small, select audience.
We've got a musical month ahead. We're back in the cathedral tomorrow evening. And back in Waterford again next week for another concert. And several more booked for later in the month.
* I use my computer quite infrequently these days, so whenever I switch it on, it seems to spend a lot of time and effort updating.
