Chiffchaff

Amazingly, after last night's rain, we had an hour of milky sunshine early this morning, and even more amazingly I managed to time my walk to co-incide. Once again I met this little charmer just inside the gate. Knowing s/he'd be my blip for today I could have gone straight home for breakfast at that point, but I didn't and had a lovely walk instead.  It was very quiet, I really had the place to myself, but coming home I did have to negotiate my way past probably 500 Park Runners.

Nothing much else to report, except to say (since some of you asked) the Liz Truss book, in my opinion, is very well structured and written.  I'm finding it educating, fascinating and rather horrifying, if I'm honest.  My opinion of politicians has never been high, but even so...
