Last Day of Summer

A sunny and rather hot (32°C) Saturday. B and I met in the morning for our walk, in short trousers and sleeveless tops for the last time this year. From tomorrow onwards we are expecting rain, and the temperatures will drop to  half their current level.

Later, I weeded and pruned in the front garden (which was in the shade by then), filling up the compost bin, and getting bitten by this summer’s many mosquitoes.
