Today's the day

Venue 19

Today's the day  . . . . . . . . to be on holiday

It was blue skies all the way for the Kirkcudbright Fringe Festival on this weekend.

There was live music of various kinds throughout the day and plenty of other venues to visit.  Will was roped in to do his very last 'Kirkyard Trail' of the season.  There was a big group of 35 or more people wanting to hear the stories of some of the graves - and Tessa, Josie and I joined in at the end.

Then, it was back home to prepare for a pizza night at the Pizza Cafe, currently in the summerhouse.  This is actually the first time this year that it has been in operation - which tells you a lot about the sort of summer we've had.  But, the pizzas were delicious and the desserts were courtesy of the girls - menu in extras.

It's been a great day and we've all had a lovely time .......................!
