Fast and loose

It has been another muggy and grey day ..a shower early on and late this afternoon otherwise just smelling of autumn.  
We have sanded down the garden gate ready to paint before the damp settles in for the winter (hope we will get that done) 
I spotted an opportunity to join someone online who was doing some loose paintings.. she does it occasionally with the offer to join her to paint in company.. so I barely watched what she was doing as she chatted and I painted.. in 20 minutes I made 4 very quick sketchy pictures.. this one holds the most promise.. really enjoyed it as I haven't painted much recently. 
Erin Brokovitch was a good film we just watched it.. can't think why we didn't watch it when it came out
