Alsop

I got out with my good friend, Jodie, this morning. She had an inflatable paddle board and I had my folding kayak. Everything fit in the back of her car. It was a gorgeous, still morning with a few people fishing. It's a small, prairie lake with lots of water birds. We thought we saw a blue heron and were paddling up quietly to see it. We were surprised to see it stay so still... that was because it was small solar panel on a pole...lol.
I met a friend for a chat at noon and Mom for a chat at 3:30. Now an impromptu camping trip overnight with my friend Kelli. I'm excited to use my small tent and new sleeping pad.
A busy but fun day. Tomorrow I relax.
