Farewell to Orpheus  This little kid was so gleeful running around the fountain.  Nice atmosphere as usual at the PSU farmers market.  Got lots of lovely things and I had T here to help carry them home.  It's hot but not as hot.  Cloudy, which helps.  

Then back home for lunch and regroup and discussions on when I need/should/whatever get back to RWC.  Decided next Sunday.  Boo.  That roof better be finished!!  We made some nice getaway plans for October and my mother will be visiting as well so all good things to look forward to next month.

Went to scope out fireplaces and kitchen appliances.  A contractor should be calling me by Monday, apparently.  They'll do anything we want regarding the fireplace and mantel and surround.  Good!

Then it was on to the Kerns neighborhood as there was a place I wanted to look at there.  Next a trip to Fred Meyer for some boring bits like paper towel, etc.  And lastly but not leastly to a bakery in our old neighborhood for pie* - they didn't have any pie at the farmers market and I wanted apple pie for dessert.

T is now napping on the couch and I am about to start my PT routine.

*Sadly, it was not good, hardly any apple in it, standards have dropped there.
