Wairarapa College
Dad and I went down to the college to have a nosey around, Dad and his three siblings went here and this sign has been here for over 30 years and still remains attached to the tennis fence.
The house prior to the one my Grandparents are in now backed onto the back of the school, as a youngster I never knew this and must have only been in the last 5 years they've moved into their new place. Dad lived in that house as a teenager and they were the only house on the block without a gate into the college, and they never had a hole in the fence either. The thing that amused me the most was that they used to live two doors down from the high school, then moved 200m round the corner. It seemed so silly. But who knows the reasoning :)
Visited about 10 dairies looking for Angel Energy Drink for Erin who was feeling rather under the weather.
And again, home in time for afternoon tea.
Out to tea with 'Uncle Blair' and his family. Caught up with Jamie and the other cousins. It was a bit weird, was the frist time we'd been together as a family since Lyn's funeral in March. Me and Jamie conversed about Uni life and he convinced me he's going to take me on a pub crawl and force me to drink beer. (if) when I go to Uni next year with him. I'm scared. Beer is gross. Then we were teasing Jamie about being a poor student, that was when my chocolate moose filled brandy snap snapped in my hand and 'Uncle Blair' told me to 'wipe your bum properly next time'. Funnyyyy. But I got him back by calling him 'Uncle Blair' all night and replacing his sugar in his coffee with salt :)
