Day Trip

Ahhh Martinborough?

We settled on Martinborough, we were all sick and just wanted somewhere close to go for lunch rather than a two hour drive. Also to give the grands some time to attend to their old people routines which get very much disrupted when you have visitors.

We went the back way, round Lake Wairarapa, which was flooded. Then we met the cows, who were penned on the side of the road there were three different groups of them, all very photogenic and moo-like.

Arrived in Martinborough, ate lunch at the same place we did when we attended Uncle Grants wedding quite a few years ago. It was very nice. :)

Then we went back home, stopped in Greytown for a nosey round some shops and yet again, home in time for afternoon tea.
