Blood Internship

Worked this morning. Some last minute issues came up as we were preparing to ship code. Turned out to be a long standing issue intermittent bug that we’ve seen in the lab but no customer has reported. I think it’s related to a bug in the UI that allows the user to create multiple threads which results in a race condition (usually when the UI is unresponsive and the user starts button mashing). Simple and low risk to put a tentative fix in place.
Went for a blood test in the afternoon and made the second attempt to get Avery fingerprinted for her early childhood education internship. This time we were missing some electronic form. We made the best of it with a stop at a coffee shop to study and answer emails.
Took Nina for pizza in the evening as everyone else was out. Afterwards I was supposed to chauffeur Mindy and her coworkers around to various pubs but they ended up just putting on sweatpants and chatting at her one of their houses in Durham instead. I personally was looking forward to the chaos and gossip, but we made do with an old Mario game and cookies.
