I had company on my daily walk today.
This weekend we have the annual Akureyri Cultural Night and there is a diverse range of events and experiences around town.  One was a pop-up-café in one of the old houses near Minjasafnið/Akureyri Museum where local Zonta women offered coffee and home-made pies, cakes and waffles to fund their projects for girls and women. Daníel & I stopped by for refreshments and met this cute cat on our way out. It had tried to enter the café for warmth and maybe a little bit of whipped cream, but was quickly directed out the door again.
