Unbelievably

Butterfles galore at lunchtime today!  Never had so many all year on the budleia :):)

So far this year I have only seen the normal small whites, but today - there were several small whites, a green, a meadow brown and not one but two red admirals :):)

Very surprising after all the wet weather...

In other news, a massive, massive thunderstorm with fork and sheet lightening right overhead last night, woke me up with heart pounding at 2am and poor Charlie had an accident with her fright I think :(  Luckily the power didn't go out.

About half an hour ago another, smaller storm started up, much quieter...but still going in the area....

I'm worried about whether or not I should put a washload on in case of a power cut mid wash?  What would happen then to the load?

Anyway, on with sorting out, cleaning and organising the house before its the beginning of another week tomorrow!
