A Corner of Pittenweem

Qi gong this morning, then four of us went to Kellie Castle tearoom for a cuppa and a scone.
Pottered in the afternoon, then made lentil and kidney bean patties, roast beetroot, and sautéed beetroot greens for my meal.

It was all going fine until I heard a strange, loud noise in the kitchen. I couldn’t work out what it was until I opened the oven to check on my beetroot. The glass on the inside of the door had shattered into thousands of pieces! What a mess! Quite a clean up job.
Thankfully I managed to save my beetroot.
