Dull Day At Dinham

Dull with a capital D.  Heavy overcast skies, low cloudbase and rain nearly all day long.

It was warm as well, quite an oppressive day.

I took Hollie to Dinham again for a walk and a swim. And before you ask, no I didn't!

In the image one can see the mill stream at Dinham Weir, running down to the old mill house ( now tea rooms and toilets ) and on the left some very pretty riverside cottages.

I got wet, very wet. Good job I didn't go swimming, I would have got wetterer still....

Back home to take tea which included cherry cake, and watch several episodes of the Yorkshire Auction House, which we enjoy on days like this.
