Up a bit, left a bit - Backblip

A very sad day weather wise for the first day of the Large Model air Show at March Marcle, Sth. Herefordshire today and after such a lovely day yesterday. Murky, grey and damp with rain at times. However, between the showers most of the modellers were able to show off their grand machines some just a quarter size of the real thing and looking very impressive in the air. Biplanes, Jets. mono planes, WW2 fighters , gliders and more took to the grey skies and did their best to perform great displays. Mr HB was very happy, of course! Meanwhile H and I sloped off in the afternoon and enjoyed a few hours in the lovely town of Ledbury. We explored the Herefordshire Art Trail and browsed several of the super bespoke shops on each side of the wide Main Street. Then coffee and very good cake in the pretty Malt House tea rooms before going back to join the boys.

Later 12 of us had a very good meal at The Royal Oak pub just up the road from the Showground. Safely tucked up in 'Matilda' by 10 pm after a very enjoyable day. Hope the weather's better tomorrow.
