Gloomy & rainy …..

….. ….. ….. not a great day. This is the building of the old Arrowtown Police Camp, which was shifted here, near to the old Chinese Village.

I got taken out for lunch by a neighbour who’s just returned from 5 weeks in Australia, where she’s been very warm. Coming home to our cold weather has been such a shock for her.

I’ve heard that the weather was terrible on the Fiordland trip following ours and that one poor woman got hit badly with sea sickness. How horrible for her.
It’s emphasised how fortunate we were on our trip with good weather.
