Drippy Pelargonium

It’s hard to believe that only two days ago we were enjoying the sunshine on the beach, and that we’ve eaten outside on both the previous days. Today it’s grim, and we sit in the conservatory listening to the rain.  Two sets of visitors decide to cancel due to the weather; it’s not that extreme, but G’s brother and wife prefer to meet outside due to her compromised immune system, and G’s mum is unwilling to leave the home unless the weather’s perfect (G was going to collect her and bring her here in the car - a five minute journey!) Daniel and Solveig take Lili down to see her instead - and of course Lili is an absolute star with all the other ladies in the home!

Daniel, Solveig and Lili leave after lunch to beat the traffic - though on a day like this few will be staying late to make the most of their Welsh weekend. I realise that I’ve not taken any photos of her today - and in any case, two days of Lili shots is probably enough - so it’s out into a very wet garden in search of drippy blips! There’s lots to choose from, but in the end I go for this scarlet pelargonium - though I must admit I always call them geraniums! There’s another version in extras.
