New glasses and proud
Opticians appointment. Not much change, but I really need new glasses as the bridge on mine has broken. I'll have to wait a bit longer, using my spares, as I can't quite manage the cost of them at the moment! Couldn't actually find a pair I liked either.
Lovely swim again at Osea with Michelle then back for an afternoon of gardening with the help of FK. We cut a fair bit back and weeding until the secateurs slipped and jabbed the fleshy part of my thumb. A lot of blood and a good clean, then sat with my arm in the air feeling woozy for 5mins!
After an afternoon nap and tea, Lizzie wanted details of my pregnancy and birth with FK as well as his early years, to finish off her case study. Reading it all back, (I'd kept lots of notes at the time) made me feel quite sad. I would have done things so differently if I'd been lucky enough to have more than one child, but it also reminded how I'd fought for him and always had his back.
Lizzie messaged back to say which reflexes may need a little work. It corresponded with what I'd been told years ago. She said it was minimal now and that's thanks to the corrective exercises he did back then for 10 weeks. I wish these exercises could be the norm in early years settings....it would help so many of our little people. It seems a no brainer to me.
