Tomato

JC sent me this and it made me smile.   No.1 loves tomato and now she is no longer on the trial medicine can eat as many as she likes, although the harvest from the home grown tomatoes is not brilliant this year?

Today was Monday and it was BP first thing.  I was not feeling it really and for two pins would have stayed in bed reading the paper...... but a week of indulgence and I was feeling a bit guilty.  

Home for shower and a bit of ironing and then late breakfast.  No.1 was tired after a sleepless night so didn't get going too early.  I helped her with a few emails and messages (one of the effects of the tumour is problems with speech and language - which is so hard to see.  She was a first class honours graduate in English and now struggles with reading and writing).  She was a bit emotional and we had a few tears and a hug but she is so amazing and stoical and just gets on with it.

OH went to see MIL in the care home and then went to the driving range.  it is feeling a bit autumnal so sit might be time for another layer and socks!
