New Week

G had to be at Dubai Mall metro station by 7:40 in the morning for a 4get-me-not outing, and she wanted to be dropped! So, an early start. I felt I had enough energy but boy did the day have twists and turns and almost none of them were good.

I tried to stay as calm and collected as possible. These are the times you are much more likely to say something you wish you hadn't. The half-day off I booked for the afternoon vanished. It was great to switch off and head out of the flat to do something more productive.

Ever since I had my first formal photography lesson, I've wanted to get G an NPM membership so she can benefit. I wanted to chat with the salesman who we know in the Nikon dealership store. He set it up with one phone call. :))
