The dead tree

It’s been a sunny day which has been very welcome after the past grey wet ones. I headed to the gym anticipating a sprint cycle class but as l hadn’t booked in l wasn’t aware it had been cancelled. So it became a session in the gym which was ok.

Afterwards I drove to Waitrose to pick up a bread maker as our old one had broken. It had lasted a long time though. Then it was back home for lunch.

I had a dentist appointment with the hygienist straight after and then went for a short walk along the river Otter looking for something to photograph and found this dead tree which has been like this for a long time. I then called round to a friends house and as the weather was still beautifully sunny we sat in her garden chatting about her recent holiday.

A quick trip to the allotment while my husband cooked tea. Raspberries were picked and a few courgettes and the last of the beans. An enjoyable day.
