You may notice the little mascot on the tower. Things are often taken seriously here in Japan. Not sure why but I’m guess that since everything almost has its own character, it’s to add leverage and approachability to something. Each town has a mascot, companies have characters. I find it ridiculous, but clearly I’m wrong, as it “works” here.
