At sea -day 8
It’s a long way to Svalbard!
Today I met Ala from Poland. She has travelled to every country in the world. I also
showed Denise how to weave the wool behind in her knitting. Apart from eating, we attended talks on polar bears, whaling and then the geology man talking about water. (Not much of that was retained).
My blip is some stats about the people on the ship. (This doesn’t include the expedition staff, who are from USA, NZ, Australia, Canada, one from UK and Amalia the young leader from Argentina). The sad thing is that Quark are selling this ship and buying a very swanky one but the crew has no idea what will happen to them. They have been together for some years.
You can see Mr C was the oldest passenger but he certainly didn’t look it.
