Dereliction…

We have a street full of derelict shops that I pass every day on my way to town so there’s no excuse for not blipping a pic for Tiny Tuesday.

The piece of window sill isn’t tiny but the spores decaying in the wood are. Along with the tiny spores there’s all sorts gathered in the space.

Many years ago this used to be a swish ( well not that swish but certainly affordable) furniture store. My mum used to work in the office upstairs and I sometimes popped in to see her on my way from school to the bathing pools. So it really was a long time ago!

Yesterday I was whining about the length of time Boots lift had been out of action (6 months). Today I was speaking to my GP’s PA who told me the end is not in sight. Spare parts are no longer available and the new lift they ordered is also not available so the saga continues…
