The Start

We constantly (or I do) talk about the need to replace the kitchen and bathrooms, or do we move yo somewhere where it's all done already?

Today, I convinced the man to come to the store where we could start looking at replacing the kitchen. It's a long process... for a smart man, he has no idea what would happen. He didn't like any kitchen, they wouldn't fit into our small space!? He didn't see how any of the free standing cabinets would work and questioned if you could actually have two fridges beside each other.

I explained that we could buy anything we wanted, so long as it fits, and moreover, there were people with the necessary skills to make sure things fit. But how can we get those button handles on those no handled drawers? he asked.

I needed a coffee and some sugar... It's going to take longer than I thought, but it's a start. Hopefully, when I take him to a specialist kitchen shop, he won't need to ask the very basic questions.
