Chutney and a red tomato

Today we decided that although there are still some tomatoes which are turning red, there are quite a few that will never make it at this time in the season.  So I decided to make some Green Tomato Chutney this morning.  The chopping is the hardest part, but while it was cooking I was able to do the ironing, so all good.  And the chutney tastes nice!

Deserved a wee treat in the afternoon so we headed down the Clyde Valley to take up our free coffees at Dobbies...... it was very quiet, and I had a nice wander although I didn't buy anything, and surprisingly Bob managed to leave without purchasing a single plant!
