A moment in time

The Govan/Partick Bridge

Bob had a hospital appointment first thing this morning to get blood taken, but when he came home we headed into Glasgow to see the new bridge.

The bridge was opened last Saturday, and today we went to see it and cross over from the Riverside Museum to Govan and back. Last time we did that it was on the ferry with my nephew and family.  It was a beautiful sunny day, windy, and cold on the riverside.

Had a bit to eat in the cafe at the museum, and then a look around the museum.

The Riverside Museum (see extra)  is a stunning building, designed by Zaha Hadid, (Iraqi/British architect and designer) and is Glasgow's Transport Museum.  The tall ship the 'Glenlee' is berthed beside the museum, and entry to both is free, and they are both well worth visiting.
